Job title: Area Manager – 9 months fixed term maternity cover (potential to become a full-time position if a vacancy arises for the right candidate).
Due to maternity leave, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Area Manager.
We are a nationally franchised business operating in Bristol & surrounding areas, providing contract, commercial cleaning services. Having traded for circa 25 years, we have built a reputation for delivering a good value, high standard cleaning service to our clients.
The ideal Area Manager candidate will have a can-do attitude, the ability to be flexible with their working hours and will take great pride in the standards that they deliver.
Covering Bristol:
Whilst a background in cleaning is preferred, it is in no way essential as full training will be given. What is important is that the candidate is passionate, committed and focused on service delivery. One year supervision of staff experience is required for this role.
Job description:
• Managing the cleaners in your area, ensuring that they are cleaning to schedule and high standards.
• Training cleaning staff as and when necessary to ensure that the contract performs going forward and training new staff that are appointed to your contracts.
• Carry out regular site inspections for each of your clients.
• Carry out cover cleans for holidays and sickness in your area.
• Liaise with our office staff for stock orders, admin and payroll etc.
• Have regular update meetings with your Manager, our Customer Success Manager.
Pay rate: Starting salary of £28,000 per annum

Job type: full-time, Temporary Maternity Cover for 9 months, opportunity to become permanent if vacancy arises.
