Job Title: Part-Time Cleaner

Hours: 12.5 hours per week

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 6:00pm – 8:30pm
  • Wednesday: 1:00pm – 3:30pm

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced cleaner to join our team, working within a busy doctors’ surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises in line with healthcare requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and maintaining the waiting room and reception area
  • Cleaning GP surgeries and clinical areas to a high standard
  • Cleaning offices and staff welfare areas
  • Maintaining cleanliness of toilets and washrooms
  • Ensuring all areas meet strict hygiene and infection control standards

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience is essential
  • Experience working in medical centres or similar environments preferred
  • Familiarity with CQC standards and auditing processes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
