Job Description:

Part-Time School Cleaner Vacancy

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time School Cleaner to join our friendly team at a local infant school in Allestree (DE22 2HE).

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 5:30am – 8:00am
  • 39 weeks per year (term time only)

About the Role:
Working as part of a team of three, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils and staff. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the school are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and maintaining classrooms
  • Sanitising toilets and washroom facilities
  • Cleaning offices and staff areas
  • Maintaining the school hall
  • Ensuring communal walkways are clean and tidy
  • Following cleaning schedules and health & safety guidelines

What We’re Looking For:

  • A reliable and punctual individual
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable
  • Must be eligible for a DBS
