Early Morning Cleaner

Location: Doctors' Surgery
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 7:00am (10 hours per week)
Pay: £12.71 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Early Morning Cleaner to join our team at a busy doctors' surgery.

This role is essential in ensuring our premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors and staff.

Duties will include:

  • Cleaning waiting areas and reception spaces.
  • Cleaning consulting rooms and treatment/clinic rooms.
  • Cleaning doctors' surgeries and clinical areas.
  • Cleaning patient and staff toilets.
  • Cleaning staff kitchens, offices and welfare areas.
  • Replenishing consumables where required.
  • Following infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in line with healthcare and CQC requirements.

About You

The successful applicant will:

  • Be reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Take pride in maintaining exceptionally high cleaning standards.
  • Ideally have previous cleaning experience within a medical or healthcare environment.
  • Have experience working to standards that are regularly audited by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) (desirable).
  • Be able to work Monday to Friday from 5:00am to 7:00am.

  • Due to the surgery's location, you must have your own reliable transport, as there is no public transport available at the required working times.
