Are you an organised people person who enjoys building strong client relationships and leading a team? We're looking for a proactive Cleaning Area Manager to join our growing commercial cleaning business, covering the Dorset and Hampshire areas.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for looking after our valued customers, supporting our cleaning teams, and recruiting new staff to ensure we continue to deliver an excellent service.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts across Dorset and Hampshire.
  • Carrying out regular site visits and quality audits.
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers.
  • Recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new cleaning staff.
  • Supporting, training and motivating cleaners in your area.
  • Managing staff rotas, holiday cover and absence.
  • Resolving any customer or staffing issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensuring health & safety and company standards are maintained at all times.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience managing people, ideally within cleaning, facilities management, hospitality or a similar service industry.
  • A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence using basic computer systems, email and Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence.
