We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness across various premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring environments are hygienic, organised, and welcoming. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Monday to Friday - 2 hours a day- start time flexible - outside office hours - can be done early morning or evening.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers to ensure facilities are well-equipped at all times.
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the relevant department.
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to organisational policies regarding cleaning schedules and standards of hygiene.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good physical stamina and mobility to perform tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
  • Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is desirable but not essential.
  • Driver preferable
