We are a well-established commercial cleaning company based in the North East of England, providing high-quality cleaning services to schools, offices, medical facilities, and large commercial buildings. With several vans on the road, we are looking for a Mobile Cleaning Mate to support our drivers in delivering exceptional cleaning services across client sites.
Job Description:
As a Mobile Cleaning Mate, you will play a key role in supporting our cleaning team, travelling with a driver to various locations. This role involves covering for holidays and sickness at different sites, as well as taking part in deep cleans. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and be comfortable working in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver in travelling to client sites and delivering cleaning services
- Perform cleaning duties at a variety of client sites, including schools, offices, and medical facilities
- Cover shifts when regular cleaners are on holiday or absent due to sickness
- Undertake deep cleaning projects as needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Handle cleaning equipment and products responsibly and safely
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring client satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning (essential)
- Ability to travel to various sites as a passenger in the company van
- Flexibility to cover shifts across different locations, sometimes at short notice
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high standards of cleaning
- Ability to work well within a team
- A DBS check will be carried out due to the nature of some of our work (schools and medical facilities)
- No driving licence required
