Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team and provide high-quality cleaning services at a local primary school. This role is crucial in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, pupils, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean classrooms, corridors, and communal areas, including vacuuming, mopping, and dusting.
- Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and other washroom facilities.
- Empty bins and ensure rubbish is disposed of correctly.
- Wipe down surfaces, desks, and high-touch areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or stock shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently to a high standard.
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to pass DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks, as this role is within a school setting.
