The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of office premises, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Role Overview:
As a part-time office cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining office spaces, including common areas, restrooms, and workstations. You will work independently to ensure that the office is kept clean, organised, and presentable for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, and common areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, chairs, shelves, and countertops.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Empty waste bins and remove trash from the premises.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to ensure they are streak-free.
- Replenish toiletries, paper towels, and other office supplies as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and stored properly.
- Assist with any other cleaning tasks or special requests from the office manager.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in office cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
