Minster Cleaning in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire are delighted to be recruiting for a Commercial Manager to work within the Oxfordshire area. The role will be covering a geographical patch, dictated by the OX postcode, with contracts based in Oxford City Centre, Witney, Eynsham, Wallingford, Wantage, Banbury and surrounding areas.
Our Business – Minster Cleaning Oxfordshire and Wiltshire is locally managed and owned, as well as being part of an established UK network. It is still run as a family business and it is due to this that we deliver our service with such passion and conviction. We are small enough to care but big enough to succeed. Our offices are based in Faringdon and we service our clients throughout Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. We have an established team of Commercial Managers across the business who support one another and draw on each other’s experience.
The Role – The role is managing a multi contract area, ensuring that our clients are receiving the very best service that we can offer to them. This is done through effective communication, attention to detail, outstanding man-management and excellent organizational skills. There can be no set working pattern and often the hours can be unsociable but in turn, this flexibility can be worked to your advantage. Full responsibility of contracts, cleaners, stock rotation, Health and Safety, employment legislation, recruitment as well as maintaining the growth of this area through upselling, direct sales and referrals is key to this role.
The ideal candidate – To be successful in this role, you would need to be passionate and hardworking and able to work under your own initiative. A background in people management or account management would be advantageous but full training would be given. You would need to have high expectations and be able to make people work to those expectations using motivation techniques and performance management. Customer service skills and an understanding of client needs and delivering that need are essential. A full UK driving license is required.
